We are a nutrition and operations based consulting firm with decades of experience in Child Nutrition.
We have refined our approach through creation of cycle menus, training and development of staff, and implementing strategies that take on the task of not only attaining nutritional excellence, but also financial success in the K-12 environment.
Our experience not only supports a school district in meeting all state and federal mandates for implementing the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs, but also the menu creation with an eye for detail and meticulous organization. The objective is to quickly and accurately evaluate, analyze and organize a district’s nutritional program to insure compliance and easy on-going maintenance.
Our services are based on the unique needs of your district. Standard or customized packages are available to meet each district's needs and can include anything from completely setting up your Nutrition Program, to supplemental maintenance of it, to training on how to set up and maintain an Healthier US Schools Award Winning Nutrition Program. Meet The Team
Maureen Pisanick
Maureen Pisanick, RD, LD, is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University and the Cleveland Clinic Foundation Dietetic Internship. She has worked in multiple sectors of nutrition to include programs and curriculum at The Health Museum of Cleveland, clinical in and outpatient dietetics at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, the Intensive Feeding Disorder Team at the Shaker campus of the Cleveland Clinic, and the latter half of her career in school nutrition programs as a director and consultant.
Maureen has held office positions for the local and state School Nutrition Association, and is an active member of both SNA as well as the American Dietetic Association. She is also the regional trainer for allergy management in schools for the Institute of Child Nutrition. Maureen maintains an active role in local and state school nutrition advocacy through her work and consulting.
Sarah Carlson
Sarah Carlson, MS, RD, LD, has always had a tremendous passion for healthy eating and exercise. While in college, Sarah decided that she wanted to be able to share her knowledge with others and chose to major in Nutrition and Food Science. She completed her dietetic internship and master’s degree in Nutrition at Kent State University.
She knew from the first day when she started in K-12 food service as an intern that school nutrition was her calling. She chose to focus her master’s thesis on the healthy meal modifications made to the National School Breakfast and Lunch meals and how the students perceived these changes.
Since completing graduate school, Sarah has worked as the District Dietitian for Plain Local Schools, Consultant Dietitian for Stark County Educational Service Center and as a Consultant Program Specialist conducting Administrative Reviews for the Ohio Department of Education.
Tina Hastings
Tina brings 15 years of front line production experience managing in the food industry/front of house for a large grocery store. First brought into the team 5 years ago as a school employee working in a Pisanick Partner school district, she excelled at bringing healthy flavorful meals to her customers big and small, with improved participation from staff, students, and through specialty catering events.
Tina specializes in finding ways to bring kitchens from negative to positive fund balances with a keen eye to key performance indicators, while continuing to ensure quality food service to those she serves.
Marge Robison
Marge Robison, MPH, RD, LD has had a focus on pediatric nutrition throughout her career. She practiced pediatric clinical nutrition at top rated hospitals including The Cleveland Clinic and Johns Hopkins Hospital. Marge has written papers and given many lectures on topics in pediatric nutrition. She was also an instructor of nutrition at Lakeland Community College.
Her education includes a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Public Health degree from Johns Hopkins University with an emphasis in Maternal and Child Health.
Alana Williams
Alana Williams holds a Master's in Nutrition and Dietetics from Kent State University, where her passion for health and wellness grew through both academic studies and hands-on experiences. During her time at Kent State University, Alana contributed to Kent State Dining's menu planning. Through this experience, she developed a strong ability to balance appealing meals with operational efficiency, ensuring that school menus were both nutritious and practical for large-scale food service environments.

In addition to her work with campus dining, Alana completed a comprehensive dietetic internship, where she gained practical experience across a variety of settings. This allowed her to further hone her skills in menu planning, nutrition analysis, and food service management. Alana is particularly passionate about creative menu planning and student engagement, recognizing that school nutrition is about more than just meeting guidelines—it’s about making healthy eating accessible, enjoyable, and sustainable for students.
